Pool Alarm Systems

The system monitors the movement of water caused by a fall into the pool or spa by detecting changes in water pressure.

When a change in water pressure is great enough to indicate a fall may have occured, a siren sounds at the detector unit by the pool or spa and at the remote unit inside the house.

Aquaguard technology has been extensively tested to the AFNOR standard, the most rigorous world standard for ensuring low false alarming, as well as the US ASTM F2208 standard.

The ASTM standard is that specified for pool alarms in the new draft standard for "Safety barriers and fences around swimming pools, spas and hot tubs", scheduled to be published later in 2006.

This means there is finally a consumer installed pool alarm system that provides excellent performance features with high immunity to wind, rain and other surface water disruptions.
